Warranty & Compliance
I’ve had mixed responses from Toyota regarding warranty when removing the Prado 250 rear seats. From the dealers I’ve spoken with, the advice has been that as long as the 48V assist system is not touched or modified, there are no issues.
Our kit does not require any relocation or modification of the 48V assist system – it stays completely untouched.
If warranty is a concern, please contact your local Toyota dealer directly. I can also provide detailed images of our kit that you can forward to your dealer to confirm that the 48V assist system remains unaffected.
Compliance Notice: If the rear seats are removed, the vehicle may need certification as a 5-seater. The customer is responsible for arranging compliance certification if required.
